This policy covers the website mattyoung.com.au and any apps or tools run by Matt Young. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Contact form. If you send a message through the contact page, I receive your name, email address and whatever you write. I use this only to reply to you and to deliver the work you ask about.
Bookings. Session bookings are handled by Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service.
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies.
Some of my own tools connect to Google services (such as Google Calendar) through Google's APIs. These tools are used only by me, to manage my own account. When I sign in and grant access:
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
I don't sell or rent personal information. I share it only with the service providers named above, where needed to run the site and my business, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you. If you have a concern about how I've handled it, contact me first; you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
